Midnight Apartment Fire

Sunday, December 3, at 12:33 am, companies were dispatched for a report of a fire within an apartment. Upon arrival, Engine 1-1s crew was met with heavy smoke and an active fire within an apartment unit’s bathroom. Members quickly extinguished the fire and then performed overhaul to check for extension and put out hotspots. The connecting apartments were checked for extension as well. All fire department units were released by incident command after about an hour and a half.
