Mutual Aid House Fire

Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 19:45 hours, Engine 1-1 responded mutual aid into Pompton Lakes for a working structure fire. Pompton Lakes operated at a 1 & 1/2 story residential wood-frame structure with heavy fire showing from the C side exterior of the home. Pompton stretched two 1 & 3/4 inch hand lines and quickly knocked all visible fire, preventing much extension from the screened-in porch to the interior of the structure.
