Quick Knock Contents Fire

Thursday, June 8, at 4:47 pm, companies were dispatched for a 9-1-1 call reporting a fire in an apartment. Upon arrival, Engine 1-1’s crew was met with a heavy smoke condition and was able to identify that the fire was isolated to a living room couch. The fire was extinguished quickly and crews from Companies 1 & 2 ensured that there was no extension to the surrounding area. The apartment was ventilated and cleared before crews were released by fire command.
