Lincoln Park Condo Fire

Eight condo units were either badly damaged or totally destroyed as fire raced through the entire 50×100 foot, 2 1/2 story wood frame building which housed them. The fire department was dispatched at approximately 12:40am on February 17th to the report of a fire at 23 Homestead Lane in the Hilltop Farm condominium complex. First arriving units reported visible fire within the structure and mutual aid was summoned from Towaco and Pequannock Company 2. Wayne Company 2 and Pompton Plains Company 1 (FAST / RIT) each responded with an engine and additional manpower for relief.
