Fire In Pompton Lakes Pump Station

On Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at 04:14, Company 1 was dispatched mutual-aid into Pompton Lakes for a Commercial Structure Fire. Members with Engine 1-4 operated on scene for about one hour before returning to service. The fire was caused by a burning transformer at the Pompton Lake Dam Pump Station.

Riverdale Fire was also on scene.

Wanaque Fire and Wayne Fire Company 3 stood by for coverage.
