Man Rescued From Underneath Coach Bus

On Monday, October 27, 2025, at 12:29, companies were dispatched to 760 Newark Pompton Turnpike for the report of a victim trapped underneath a bus. Upon arrival, one adult male was found partially trapped from the legs up beneath the rear section of a privately owned coach bus. Atlantic EMS & Pequannock Police were on scene and reported that the victim seemed to be in stable condition but also was unable to move. Crews quickly began to stabilize the vehicle with heavy cribbing while simultaneously raising it from the rear frame rails. The victim was then removed and evaluated by EMS, who determined that he had sustained no injuries.
