Vehicle Fire Damages Home

​On Dec. 11 at 10:41 a.m., township emergency officials received a report of a fire at the Cape-style home located on Manor Ave. According to police, while the family was away, a neighbor would start their cars periodically. The neighbor reportedly started a 1984 Chevrolet El Camino in the garage and then went to the driveway to start up a second vehicle. The neighbor then heard a "pop," and saw that the El Camino was on fire. "Fire companies responded to extinguish the fire, but not until the home received extensive damage to its entire structure," said police.
